The guy should be asked exactly this by reporters and Byrne and he should be made to answer.

“Mind you, Florida State was 2-10 last year. If Mike Norvell could fix those issues in one offseason, why couldn’t DeBoer level up after a year in which inexplicable losses to Oklahoma and Vanderbilt kept Alabama out of the College Football Playoff?”

70 million dollar buyout is daunting but given the context we've got to start thinking about DeBoer's future here.

Why should you shell out big bucks for players when the head coach -staff can't get the most out of them.

This is the biggest indictment on DeBoer right now. I remember looking at fall camp videos and just hearing him sound all happy go lucky and thinking to myself, is there anybody out there yelling?

Toughness and demeanor has left the building. 70 million will be nothing compared to putting up with this for another year plus. Something gotta change

Here's more misery. Only two SEC teams lost yesterday. Texas lost 14-7 to Ohio State, but they played well, and lost to a highly ranked team. On the other hand, BAMA looked like a bunch of division 2 goobers that you play in late November. Let's get a billboard on McFarland - "show Deboer the door".
