almost as much as South Carolina and Miss. State. He made as many mistakes as Croom did last night. Hope he is pulled aside by Herbstreit. Some serious adjustments need to be made.
I have been quite vocal in my dislike of Chris Fowler. I dislike him as anchor for the Gameday crew. He has the personality of a turnip, the football knowledge below the average Joe and no stage presence at all. He would be best left to doing horse races and commercials. Chris Fowler, not Lee Corsoe is the real blemish at ESPN, even worse than Granny Holtz.
I don't care what anyone says Mark May is the worse by far. Doesn't he look like the kid in the wheel chair on malcom in the middle. when he starts talking I turn the channel his voice is like finger nails on a chalkboard
Wow, there is some ESPN hatin' going on in this thread!Curious, if most people on here don't like the analysts on ESPN, then what do you watch for you're college info? I'm not necessarily married to the idea of getting all of my info from ESPN, but what else is there? I don't like local sports shows and FSN is not always great. I don't have any strong feelings for or against anyone on ESPN (except maybe Holtz :mad2:; never hated him as a coach but he has no clue what to do on camera), and I'm surprised at the number of people who dislike their analysts. So, if not ESPN, then what?
Speaking for myself, it's not a matter of "what else is there?" That doesn't really matter and is not the issue. It doesn't matter if it's the only channel out there at all, it doesn't make mediocrity acceptable. Or in some people's views, less than mediocrity :biggrin2:
Point taken, but I love college football, thus, I like to watch it analyzed. I don't have a computer in my apt. so I can't get ALL of my info from the internet. I need to watch something, and ESPN satisfies that need. If I hated ESPN like many people on this message board, I'd be pretty starved for football info, that's for sure.
