Game Thread: Clemson vs Auburn

That kind of luck runs out quickly. Sucks for Dabo but Clemson beat themselves. And if the refs ever called spearing, leading with the helmet, etc...

Me too. I'm definitely a Kyle Parker fan after tonight. He left it all out on the field.

Especially, considering the baseball career he put on hold to play this year. IIRC, it was a very tough decision for him to make. Didn't even know for sure if he would play this year but he sure as heck wouldn't quit on his teammates for anything.

Welp..they got USCe next week. Both are overhyped pretenders in my mind. Guess we'll see which one is the bigger one. Wish there was a way they could both lose.

Right before clemson's 3rd and 5 play, did anybody see Dabo Speak into the mic, he said "We got em'!" sure enough, the receiver was wide open in the back of the end zone. That play was the game. Clemson won that game... God. Lets take Auburn next week. 50-3.

This is good for the SEC though. So... That's good.

I never lose sleep when AU does or does not do anything. We won today and that is all that matters for the most part.

I agree, maybe Bama will be the team to teach them a lesson.
I still can't figure out why supposedly bright DC's can't figure out that every time Ontario McCaleb comes in the game, its going to be an end around or reverse play. Every time. You know, watching their film you'd think they'd recognize it.

All their other tough games are at home, and I'd bet a paycheck right now they beat LSU.

I'm not so sure...LSU's defense is mighty quick. And big. Nevis is a good one. Should be an interesting game, but I like LSU in that one because of that defense.

With the way things are shaping up in the SEC, I'm not sure I see the barn losing now until they play us. All their other tough games are at home, and I'd bet a paycheck right now they beat LSU.

I think South Carolina will beat them next week.

Yeah, Parker leads the WR a little less and it's a ballgame, 30-27. I'm sure throwing the ball with that hurt rib didn't help.

I like Dabo, but bottom line he choked--big time. You can't squander a 17-3 lead and expect to win in an SEC venue, especially against Mr. 5-19.

Know this isn't gonna go over very well here but I think this is the beginning of the end for Dabo in Death Valley.

Yes, Dabo has a lot of growing to do. I don't know that he's in any real danger at Clemson, though. Look how long they put up with Tommy Bowden.

You're one of the most football knowledgeable women (heck, one of the most football knowledgeable people) I've seen post on the internet, but even then, the little "scheme" was so obvious you'd think they would have picked up on it.
