Typical SI. How can you have a poll like that without either Joe Namath or Kenny Stabler on the QB ballot?????

Well Namath had some knee problems but shined when he got his chances.
But Stabler I'm not to sure.

Got to say that given their college careers they don't quite have the numbers to compete with these guys. It's nothing against their abilities - they had more ability than Weurffel does in his pinky - but the era. When you ran the ball 75-80% of the time you don't have a chance to put up huge numbers.

Joe Namath finished 2nd in the Heisman (ripped off, mind you) and he's not good enough. Uhmmm, ok.
