I may be in the minority, but I’m glad Corso is retiring. He’s like the coach who stayed around too long and ruined his legacy by prolonging his stay.
I agree as far as he should have retired a few years ago but no way did he ruin his legacy. That core group especially him had a huge part in making college ball as big as it is.

I grew up watching him so coach we appreciate you even though you pick against Bama a lot!

I do not know if he ruined his legacy, but I believe ESPN did not want to dump him just because he had had a stroke. He obviously is not as fluid in his speech as he once was. He rebounded a good bit, but never completely. Then the problem becomes when do you retire Coach Corso?
Letting Coach Corso have one last pick was like putting a senior starter back in the game in a late season game even though up big, just so the fans can cheer him one last time when you pull him. Classy farewell to Coach Corso.
