Coaches Poll week 10

I’m not sure all of these teams belong in the top 10. Has Oregon beaten a top 25 team? I guess the Notre victory over a bad USC team gives them one win over top 25? There are others with weak schedules (looking at Ohio State and Indiana). What say you?

Texas Tech looks like a solid team. But they have only played one ranked team. Utah. And Utah's schedule is also easy. If they make it to the playoffs, I can see them playing Miami or Texas A&M. They might upset Miami, but the Aggies would totally dominate the Red Raiders. They play BYU the 18th. But BYU has an easy schedule as well. So that game won't tell us much.

It’s nonsensical.

Texas beat the higher ranked opponent yesterday and beat OU hth by 3 scores.

But it’s Texas so… meh

Just keep winning and the rest will take care of itself. The committee rankings always are amusing to me. ESPN does a good job hamming it up for ratings even though what comes out tomorrow is meaningless because it will change before the final playoff selection.
