Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. how can they justify Bama at #10 and FSU at #18?
BTW, it tells me that the country now sees the FSU game as an anomaly. I hope that is true!
The coaches poll has been junk for a long time. Most of the coaches actually don’t even cast the votes.

It can’t be justified.
FSU’s drop was maybe harsh being it was an OT loss to a 1 loss team on the road.
This year more than any other feels like throwing darts blindfolded and hoping you at least hit the Board in guessing who’s good or not and who’s better than who.
tOSU is firmly at #1 and they sleep walk through games and are ranked there based off Texas and I mean how good are they?
There’s probably not a Top 25 team that is 100% trustworthy to not lose a game they shouldn’t.
The CFBP Selection will be a hot mess this year I’m betting.
No problem with this poll because I would say very few of the coaches actually vote so the poll is not relevant IMO. The only poll that matters is the one at the end of the year.
