It's meant to be... he played thereI think Kane Womack has shown the ability to handle coaching in the SEC.
He’s young and has experience in the conference.

Pittman should have told the lil piggies to give him his full buyout when he was forced to hire Petrino. Petrino will get the permanent job. The AD threw Pittman under the bus today IMHO in his announcing Petrino as the interim.![]()
Arkansas’ Bobby Petrino fires 3 coaches after taking over for Sam Pittman
Bobby Petrino wasted no time after replacing Sam Pittman at Arkansas, firing three defensive coaches as he reshapes the Razorbacks.www.yahoo.com

I guess their wives or girlfriends weren't hawt enough.Pittman should have told the lil piggies to give him his full buyout when he was forced to hire Petrino. Petrino will get the permanent job. The AD threw Pittman under the bus today IMHO in his announcing Petrino as the interim.
So Petrino was the OC responsible for a team that score 16 points in the last 6 quarters (three in second of Memphis, and 13 against ND) and he has the audacity to fire three defensive coaches. Yeah, the defense looked terrible Saturday but Petrino hasn’t been lighting the scoreboard with his play calling.Pittman should have told the lil piggies to give him his full buyout when he was forced to hire Petrino. I don't totally disagree, but he HAS to adjust how he defends the run. We don't set the edge and give up way too many big runs through unattended gaps.I think Kane Womack has shown the ability to handle coaching in the SEC.

Petrino is such a scumbag, that he probably threw those games (OC Calls) to get Pittman fired...knowing that he would be the one named as Interim HC.So Petrino was the OC responsible for a team that score 16 points in the last 6 quarters (three in second of Memphis, and 13 against ND) and he has the audacity to fire three defensive coaches. Yep Yurachek was looking for a scapegoat, and Sam was it. I think Sam knew it was over after the Memphis game. It was just a matter of when.
I thought the same thing.Petrino is such a scumbag, that he probably threw those games (OC Calls) to get Pittman fired...knowing that he would be the one named as Interim HC.![]()
I think maybe AlexanderFan was implying that Arkansas should hire Womack.I don't totally disagree, but he HAS to adjust how he defends the run. We don't set the edge and give up way too many big runs through unattended gaps.
I do remember how things improved last year. He needs to do that again!!!
According to rumors circulating about Walmart, Arkansas is making a big commitment and offering Saban a 50% stake in the company in exchange for his acceptance as the Hogs' head coach.Petrino is such a scumbag, that he probably threw those games (OC Calls) to get Pittman fired...knowing that he would be the one named as Interim HC.![]()
Blue font indeed!According to rumors circulating about Walmart, Arkansas is making a big commitment and offering Saban a 50% stake in the company in exchange for his acceptance as the Hogs' head coach.
Are they going to make Pitman work off his payout by being a greeter at Walmart???Blue font indeed!
Everyone knows how greedy the Waltons are..........![]()
If Lashlee has awbern as a "destination" job, he has very low goals...I thought Pittman actually did a solid job there, considering the way that Chad Morris absolutely cratered the program. To take that team to 9-4 in his second season was one of the more impressive coaching feats I’ve seen, but they never had the same mojo once Kendall Briles and Barry Odom left.
Arkansas probably has plenty of money via the Walton and Jones connections, but they are facing an uphill battle in that even with the money, there are just more desirable locations to play in the SEC and Big 12, and the best players will still end up at those schools. Kind of the conundrum that Nebraska has been in for years now.
They’ll either promote Petrino, or hire an underwhelming mid-major coach. Lashlee, if he’s a legit target, is waiting for the Auburn job to eventually open up. Alex Golesh probably has his eyes on Florida, and Sumrall is headed to Kentucky if Stoops is let go. JMO.
Interestingly, I heard on WJOX this morning that Freeze at Auburn has moved ahead of Napier on the “Next Coach to be Fired” odds board.
Things could get interesting in SEC coaching carousel. It is heavily rumored already that Arkansas is very interested in Lashlee, a former player there and from down the road in Springdale. Jerry Jones, the Cowboys owner and Arkansas alumni, has already made comments that he thought Lashlee would be his choice. Whether jones would reach into his pocket to make that happen, remains to be seen. The other target as mentioned would be Jon Sumrall at Tulane.
Where things would get interesting if Auburn decides to rid themselves of Freeze and Kentucky does the same with Stoops. Fans at UK are ready to move on, but the question is will the PTB reach in to their pockets for the $34 million buyout? One thing for sure. If UK misses out on Sumrall, a former UK player,, and he ends up at Auburn (Sumrall coached down the road at Troy before Tulane and is from Huntsville) their fanbase will go into complete meltdown.
Lashlee is in the catbird’s seat. He can play Arky and Auburn against each other orb negotiate a bigger deal at SMU (currently at $2.6 million/yr) if he does want to stay in Dallas.
Lashlee was the "OC" for them in 2013... Being connect to Gus with a slight credit for a win over Alabama he knows they will pull up and dump generational cash over him. Even better, he can sign a 7-10 year contract, get fired in three years with a huge buyout, and then coach at other places. If Lashlee has awbern as a "destination" job, he has very low goals...![]()
