I think recruiting will ultimately solve this problem but right now we're just asking some players to play within a system that isn't a good fit for their talent.

I pray DeBoer will find beefy, strong, athletic Offensive Linemen. Four new players like this would be a big help for next season.

He’s 45-28 at Missouri and has never lost less than 2 games in a season.

That also includes a .500 season and 2 losing seasons and 4 seasons with an SEC record of .500 or less

Never finished higher than 2nd in the SEC East.

Schools are insane right now.

He’s done nothing to be paid like an Elite CFB HC.

I clearly made a lot of poor choices in life wrt a career…lol

True but there is no one equivalent or better attainable for UM. So you do what have to do as an admin to retain him.

We have a number of rangy 6'4-5" 320 lb guys on the roster with good pedigrees, it just takes a year or two to be ready to play OL. Add those guys to a few good portal pickups, and hopefully a couple of RB upgrades, and I think we will see solid improvement next year. If nothing else, Carroll and Lloyd and another good tackle or two should help over the immobility of Proctor and Formby.

He will bring a lot of energy to their team. It will be interesting to see how he does as the head coach. I hate to see him leave but I definitely understand it.
