If I'm Michigan, I'm calling Brent Key. Isn't Michigan just a fancier Georgia Tech with more money? They probably both have similar academic restrictions. He also runs a similar style as they're used to, and just from a mentality standpoint, I feel like that's probably a match made in heaven.

Several credible news outlets are quoting the Michigan AD as saying the termination was for cause, and the result of an "inappropriate relationship" with a staff member.

What a bunch of maroons -- on both sides. Moore for doing this and costing himself one of the best jobs in college football, a $5.5 million annual salary, a buyout well into 8 figures, and likely his marriage.

Michigan for hiring the guy in the first place. Prior to the "inappropriate relationship," Moore had two separate run-ins with the NCAA -- back when the NCAA could at least pretend to enforce rules. Additionally, he has a 2-year show cause hanging over his head.

Point of all that being, cheating on his wife with a work colleague is entirely consistent with his history of disregarding rules.

Key just signed a new contract with Tech. It would take a lot to get Key given he'll pretty much die for that program.
