Shula was probably wanting to stay with the Rams.

McCarthy is from Pittsburgh and understands it.

I think it was a "safe" hire and one of the ways to possibly keep Rodgers one more year. McDermott must not be ready to jump back into coaching because he would have been a better hire.

I doubt he wants one of the trash jobs left

Chris Shula is LAR defensive coordinator. Probably the hottest name left of what people want. He is Mike’s nephew and the Steelers reported first choice.

Yeah when Josh stepped down at Gainesville (GA) High to take at staff position at Colorado a few weeks ago, I was somewhat surprised. Having lived in Hoover for over 25 years it just seemed a weird situation going to work for Sanders. I think it might’ve been a situation where Josh saw this as his best chance to move up to college coaching.

Winning a Super Bowl, coaching Rodgers for 12 years, winning 12 games three years in a row in modern-day Dallas is "luck?"

I was surprised by the PIT hire, but he's clearly a proven coach

Even if he was allowed due process, I hope he wins.................its a thumb in the eye of the NCAA and Tennessee, and they deserve it

I was under the impression that "Due Process" was only applicable to certain Federal cases, most commonly criminal cases. I could be mistaken...
