I was under the impression that "Due Process" was only applicable to certain Federal cases, most commonly criminal cases. I could be mistaken...
Due process applies to civil matters as well, be they local, state or federal.

For instance, in order for government to take your property via eminent domain the government must allow the property holder due process to question/challenge the taking and to argue the value of the property taken, etc.

And contrary what some would argue, the settled state of the law in the US has been for decades that everyone within the jurisdiction of the US is entitled to due process in both civil and criminal matters.

The only real question is what constitutes "due process" depending on a varying number of factors.

Rams oc Matt lafleur looks to be the cardinals number 1 target. Wonder if a new oc would shuffle the offensive coaching staff at all….specifically the te coach 👀(puts tin foil hat on and learns voodoo)

If I'm Stoutland, I'm staying as far away from college football (in its current format) as I can.
The fact that his was not a "retirement" announcement means he is not done coaching. Maybe it was a move to put himself into the marketplace to see what he could get from other pro teams or maybe he wants to coach at a different level. Nick always wanted to mentor young players and it could be one of those scenarios. Dude is 63 so he fuel in the tank to pivot into a new venture if he choses.

Nick retired because with NIL, he said he could no longer do that, because all the kids and families wanted to talk about was money.

Oh, I dig that. Did some digging around after my last post. Seems to me that Stoutland will stick around the Eagles program in an off the field capacity. Sure to be well paid with a lot less stress.

The former OC at Philadelphia Patullo ( at least my understanding) threw Stoutland under the bus earlier this year for issues with offensive production. So much so that Jeff lost his title of “Run Game Coordinator” and he wasn’t happy about it. I believe he felt he was being made a scapegoat.

I feel pretty certain he’ll coach again. But I also think it will be in the NFL. My understanding is he left Alabama for Philadelphia in 2013 because he didn’t like the recruiting trail.

I would LOVE it if he joined the 49ers to coach OL.
