What's it going to take to get basketball a reasonable share of our NIL?. I'm of the opinion that we should do whatever it takes to keep Coach Oats happy. We don't have as much as some schools, but we should be able to delegate enough money for both sports. We're not a poverty school by any means. I hate to suggest this, bit would it better for our program in the long run for Auburn to win the national championship? Would that be enough motivation to get our butts into gear on that front? I had no idea he was unhappy, but if that's true, then maybe we aren't as committed to basketball as I thought. You would think all of our recent success would have the powers that be, wanting more.
It took that to get Coach Bryant here.

Is the lottery a way to divert funs to NIL for state schools? Does Georgia, Florida or Tenn?

While I'm not "for" the lottery, if the state is losing that "business" to bordering states Alabama will inevitably pass it.
I’m not sure a lottery can cure all ills….there are lots of things — most totally unrelated to college sports — that want a piece of that pie.

But it would definitely be a step in the right direction.
