think herbie tipped his hand on 680 today, I might be wrong, but from his drooling today, I say he picks Bama. by the way, he also said he would rather stay in athens and watch SEC football on a saturday night than fly to happy Valley and call the PSU/ Illinois gameWill be interesting to see what Herbie's pick is. What a great day next Saturday is going to be. What i love so much about college football.
Ya know, I'm not seeing this as much this year. In fact, I think they've all been very "up" on our team.Roll Tide. I like how they just can't get enough of us on campus yet don't really give much respect in the studio. Kirk is pretty fair though.
I agree. I just hope we give them a reason to keep it up Saturday night.Ya know, I'm not seeing this as much this year. In fact, I think they've all been very "up" on our team.
If it's not Corso singing our praises after the "Tiger Bowl" it was Lou Holtz saying we were a legit contender for the SEC championship.
The trashing of Alabama is definitely on a downward trend; maybe JMO.
I think Sat. night two very good teams will take that field, and either one of them could win.Yep, I agree that the balance is changing. It's getting to be sexier to boost Bama than to knock it. That is, until we lose...![]()
My favorite was the one from last year's Georgia game that said:The best was Chaz Ramsey chop blocked my other sign.
That's what I thought too and I've always pronounced it HerbSTRITE, but there's an Outback commercial with him narrating and he says, "Hey, Kirk HerbSTREET here..." :conf2:To be technical, his name is "Herbstreit" - "Herbstrite," in English. "Herbstriet" would be pronounced "Herbstreet."
And what a pretty smile that would be!!!I'll be there.
I doubt seriously I'll wake up early enough to go over for Game Day, but I'm gonna enjoy the game. Hopefully I'll get to drive home with a great big ol' smile on my face.
I sure did! I didn't know it was on and happened by a soldier's room that I talk SEC with a good bit - what a great surprise and fun game to watch.Raycom games have been on AFN, also. Did you see the Arky game?
