I tell ya, that was just a darn good ballgame. The Vols fans we met were great before AND after the game! Maybe things are changing with this rivalry to more of a mutual respect and "let's put all the crap behind us" sort of thing. I saw nothing but class out of the fans AND the players. I REALLY kinda expected some ugliness, but saw none.

I know the critics will all look at this score and say how sorry our offenses were; however, those of us who really watched the game know that, as you said, both teams "left it all on the field" and this was OLD SCHOOL defensive football at its' best...it was anyone's ballgame right until the end. Nerveracking, to say the least.

Anyway, all fans and players are to be totally commended for showing class all the way around, and your comments exemplify that, rb! Roll Tide!

It takes no small amount of caracter to go to a rivals board, & dodge all the disrespectful comments, & zingers, & still maintain your poise, & conduct yourself with class! IMO, we need more posters like you if the rift between our schools is ever gonna start to heal. Now if we could get just one Roll Tide from you before you go..........

It was an awesome game...smashmouth football at it's best. RB, your Vols have a pretty good D as well. That D line is something. They had me very worried.
