I've no doubt you have been feverishly stockpiling Clinton pics for the occasion. If you think this is good, just wait til next week.

Who? The same people who already hate him?Point noted but there are a lot of people closer to the action who would vehemently disagree.
Ditto. I never supported Cruz.I think some of you need a reality check. "Well, Cruz just blew himself up blah blah blah."
Hilarious. Cruz would have been a far less risky choice as the nominee (even if he lost) than Trump is. Besides, I seem to recall the party infrastructure (re: Establishment) collapsing towards Trump because - and I quote - "Ted Cruz is a RINO." This was the assessment of former GOP Senate leader Bob Dole, who warned of "cataclysmic" losses if Cruz was nominated. Dole, of course, is an expert on cataclysmic losses, having borne major responsibility for the GOP loss in 1976 that left them with only 12 governors nationwide. (For those who don't recall, he managed to lay the blame for every 20th century war at the feet of the Democratic Party during his debate with Walter Mondale). He also ran a disastrous nomination campaign twice (80 and 88) and a disastrous electoral one another time. The guy went to the plate four times and struck out, grounded out, flamed out, and bombed out.
A guy who knew he would never be the nominee even in the future went out onstage and committed a (metaphorical) homicide bombing of both himself and Trump. It might be the first time in his life Cruz put the long-term interests of the country over his own.
(And before you start, spare me the typical "you're a Cruz supporter" when I never did).
If there's to be a disastrous regime they apparently want to have the Republican brand attached to it.the platform seems to be "keep hillary out of office so we don't have another 4 years of obama's disastrous regime"
My point was Cruz voicing his true feelings while repeatedly noting that Cruz is no Reagan. Reagan would have done it even if he tanked his future chances. Of course Reagan also had fresh ideas, charisma, and a more than half functional brain. Can't say all that about Cruz. The only similarity was standing against the nominee in not giving an endorsement after coming in second.Who? The same people who already hate him?
(And I'm NOT denying Cruz royally screwed himself here - but he was never going to be the nominee anyway. Not now, not ever. And this constant comparison of Cruz with Ronald Reagan makes me nauseous. By the time Reagan ran for President when he had any sort of chance (1976), he'd been governor of California for eight years, a union head, a GE spokesperson, an Army Reserve officer, and a successful movie actor if not exactly Clark Gable.....oh, and a Democrat, too. Cruz has been an attorney and done a bunch of appointed jobs and has yet to serve a full term as Senator.......oh, and has anyone yet heard of the term 'Cruz Democrats?')
and on the fourth day of the convention, when it should be about celebrating and promoting the nominee, the story is about tedAnd now Cruz has doubled down, but he has a point and a hard-hitting one against the champion of family values (hell, he's had THREE of them)....."I'm not in the habit of supporting people who attack my father and my wife."
Cruz is out-Trumping Trump again.
Thanks for posting this. I had not seen it and am in agreement with Gov. Christie.I'm not a big Christie fan, but he has his moments ... like this:
I thought this article was relevant on this occasion. Not defending Trump, but Cruz called Trump a "snivelling coward." And he got this whole fight started when he attacked Trump for holding "New York values" in one of the early debates. So Ted, don't whine and moan like a Bush over the butthurt.
I understand your point, but there's a big difference between attacking your opponent and attacking your opponent's family. Not defending Trump, but Cruz called Trump a "snivelling coward." It was ugly, without a doubt, including Ted's PAC posting pics of Melania in her modelling days.I understand your point, but there's a big difference between attacking your opponent and attacking your opponent's family.
True. IMO, the worst ever was the push poll asking voters if they'd be less likely to vote for McCain if they knew he had an illegitimate black child. It was ugly, without a doubt, including Ted's PAC posting pics of Melania in her modelling days.
Hillary's surrogate Sen. Warren has gotten in the fray too so there's plenty to go around.
That we can most certainly agree on. Either one is going to continue to do the bidding of bankers and war profiteers.can we just agree that all of these people suck?
This entire election is about who sucks less and far too few people realize that they all do, from both major parties
But you need to show that you are the better man and NOT a petty loser. What Cruz did showed a lack of class. I guess Trump was right, "Lying Ted." Man! Ted and Hillary could be a real good Lying Ticket. Maybe she'll nominate Ted as her running mate.I understand your point, but there's a big difference between attacking your opponent and attacking your opponent's family.
