Flame away but I can't vote for a wife beater.

I personally think that any defects the man had off the field should not change what he did on the field. I'm sure he had his problems, but he was a great player and should be praised as such in the Hall of Fame.

When I was in the military our motto was "Deeds not words". Was he a good player? Yes. Do I think he is a role model or should he be honored? NO. My mothers first husband Beat her. If I knew where he was today I would hunt him down and put a good one on him. My father Married my mother and he would never even raise his voice. No one should ever hit a woman. You can always leave and regain your composure. I see no compromise on this.

People using the buzzword sex then expanding upon it

Has about as much relevance as me going back through any of your past and finding a misdemeanor in your records , blowing it up into a felony charge or expanded accusation of my choosing then going off on some wildass tangent about how you should be denied any recogniition in life because I had an uncle of a brother who had a sister who was raped , murdered , stabbed or shot ...

Odd ... does this board not show when people edit their original post anymore ? I checked the thread earlier in the day and the "response" I saw seemed to have had a good deal more words in it . I started to grab the post to quote it in fear it would get deleted or edited because it was priceless . Words that indicated you seemed hot under the collar and wanted to express that fact by committing felonies or having a few committed on you lol . I could kick myself for not posting a reply with the original post up in quotes

Bottom line , you (or perhaps a moderator ) seemed to have semi cleaned your invitation to a potential felony fest post up . Cornelius Bennet made efforts to make amends for actions that lead to a misdemeanor conviction in his life I would think you of all people should appreciate being able to move on and correct mistakes made when poor judgement and emotion collide if the mistakes made don't call for a greater level of punishment from society than a conviction on a misdemeanor.
