A three score lead. Don't see ND with any chance right now. Also clemson gets the ball first after half-time.
And a reputation earned way, way too long ago.ND = UCF with more money and tradition.
That was the only way to guarantee that OU and Bama played. I honestly believe that too. We’ve seen the results from Bama and ND & Clemson. Clemson DESTROYED OU 2 years ago and I think they wanted to see the battle of Crimson. It’s as close as the vaunted Oregon vs. Bama matchup that people wanted that never happened. What I can't figure out is why aren't we playing ND? Seems like OU should be #3!?!
Agreed. They never get the seeding right. ND should have been the #4.
It's just hard to move a team with a loss over an undefeated team, particularly with OU's perceived weakness on defense and close scrapes. (I know ND had theirs too.)Agreed. They never get the seeding right. ND should have been the #4.
FIFYI would have loved to see any other top 10 team instead of ND against Clempson today. That would have been a good game, IMHO.

If I can go back and find it, I'll link it here. I was positive that OU would be 3 and ND 4. That way we could play in Texas in primetime at Bryant Denny West in front of a sold out crowd.Agreed. They never get the seeding right. ND should have been the #4.
What should happen is the #1 team to either have the choice of venue or choice of opponent out of the #3 and #4 teams, and the #2 gets the other choiceIt's just hard to move a team with a loss over an undefeated team, particularly with OU's perceived weakness on defense and close scrapes. Now that would be an interesting scenario...What should happen is the #1 team to either have the choice of venue or choice of opponent out of the #3 and #4 teams, and the #2 gets the other choice
You would have to pick the venue to avoid giving your opponent a huge motivational boost. Now that would be an interesting scenario...
