Croyle to sign with Arizona Cardinals

With injuries to their other two qb's in camp Arizona was in dire need. This could be a good fit for Brodie. He's had experience running a similar offense with Todd Haley in KC. Haley is the former OC in Arizona and the Cards continue to run the same style offense.
While Brodie would recieve the benefit of a better WR corps, Arizona's OLine is one of the worst in the NFL. They finished next to last in the league in sacks allowed last year, and the Cards' run game was virtually non-existant. I'm not sure if this is a better situation for BC or not.
If Brodie was expected to be the starter I would totally agree that is not a better situation from Brodie. However, as a backup quarterback in the NFL its all about getting in the right system and helping the starters adjust. Arizona is a good fit for this reason only. Hope he sticks, this may be his last shot.
Much of that had to do with their young QBs holding onto the ball for far too long and not being confident/decisive enough to let it fly.
Glad for Brodie. Hope he gets a chance to prove he can do it. Also the obligatory, "Hope he stays healthy" remark we're so used to saying.
10-16 for 104 yards in his first action of the year. He also had a guy drop what looked to be a sure TD pass. He looked pretty good. Hope it's enough for him to stay with them.
