Here are the numbers according to espn:

Brodie Croyle 76-126 for 1111 yds 9tds 2ints 1 rushing td

Matt Leinart 82-126 for 1304 yds 10 tds 2 ints 1 rushing td

I found those numbers to be pretty surprising since Leinart is supposed to be the best qb in the country by far.
The numbers tell a different story. Also, when i think back on this season to this point, I can think of about 10 dropped passes that should have been cought. It could be more than that. If brodie keeps this up he may get an invitation to the heisman award show. Of course he wont win it but an invitation would be nice.

when i read the first sentence I also thought about all the dropped passes early on (one a sure TD)....so really brodie's #s should be just as good if not better....i hope brodie starts getting the attention he deserves....

Just ask yourself, Would the JETS like to have Brody right now?

I know Brody is not the prototypical guy they are looking for (6'5" 240 runs 4.0 fourty, can throw 60 yards on his knees), but how many of those are out there? Right now my guess is there are several NFL teams who just want someone who can be accurate and stretch the field.

USC, Leinard, and Bush are not that good.

The only reason Reggie Bush is so dominating is because his O-Line is dominating the inferior defensive competition of the Pac-10 (LenDale White has nearly as many yards as bush and has a 7.7 ypc). I would like to see the "world beater" condoms come play in the SEC week in week out and put up the type numbers against the Bama's, Florida's, Tenn's, Auburn's, and LSU's. That Arkansas game was a fluke and I guarentee it wouldn't even come close to that again. If ASU had any sort of D-line they would have won that game over the weekend, not to mention thier #1 reciever went up to catch a ball on the USC 35, had both hands on it and should have caught it, then as the DB in front of him was falling down the WR basically threw the ball right into his arms as he went down. USC is definitely beatable and in my opinion is not eventhe best team in the lack-luster Pac-10 let alone the country. I thought they would lose to ASU (and they should have), but they will lose to one of three teams left, Notre Dame (much as I hate ND), Cal, or most likely UCLA.

That might be one reason he is so dominating, but if you think it's the only reason, then I am guessing you haven't watched Reggie Bush play.

You think so.

He is no more dominant than any other good back without that line, there is no doubt he is among the top players in the country but unlike everyone seems to believe he is not head and shoulders above everyone else in the country. Heck I think that Prothro was just as much if not more of a threat than Bush, as are several other players (skyler Green, Penn State's RB, Lawrence Marony, etc...) The sole reason for the DOMINANCE is the team he is on and the others around him. Look at Adrian Peterson, who last year was the best in the country because of the supporting cast, now he is just another good back just like Bush would be.

And yes I have watched him play several times this season and last.
