Lewis' high school coach says that we got him right before other schools were about to start offering. So Saban is not the only one that wanted him. I just hope that Saban continues to do this with the Alabama kids. It looks like he will. I see a pattern with Preyear, Williams, and now Lewis. Saban will not leave a stone unturned in the state of Alabama. Then he'll add hot shots from other states to make a great teams for us in the future.

I know stars are not important but when will Rivals and Scout start ranking the 2008 players?

They generally do it after players attend camps. The rankings usually start coming out in the early-mid summer. They may do a 5* list or 100 player list before hand. But their are hundreds of players that these recruiting services havnt even heard of yet.

Just watched the videos Rivals put up of Brandon and they're impressive. He's got good hands and moves well with the ball for a guy his size. He's even more impressive on the defensive side of the ball IMHO. A lot of times you'll see guys at the high school level get knocked around when they try to make plays going through a bunch of traffic, but not with Brandon he sheds blocks very well and is terrific in pursuit. He seems to have very good play recognition as well, something I saw in Michael Williams also. Very nice pickup! :BigA:

Why stop at Serial Killers and Defensive Lineman? Maybe the Michael Meyers he's talking about is the former funny man for SNL better known for his work on the Wayne's World and Austin Powers movies. Or he could be talking about the former Boston Red Sox pitcher from about a decade ago?
