Just when we thought we had it all figured out up pops another DE/Jack LB prospect. He is JUCO bound but Bama is after him.

Alabama, Auburn battle over Worth County DE

Auburn assistant coach Hugh Nall visited Williams on Friday, and coaches from South Carolina and Alabama have called in the past two weeks to offer official visits, according to Worth County coach Harris Rainbow. Williams will visit those three schools. He has been to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to see the Alabama-Mississippi State game.

“What they’re telling him is don’t commit to a junior college yet; commit to us, then we want to place you,’ ” Rainbow said.”This is a kid who will play on Sundays.”

Yea, I live and teach at Worth Co. Middle School. Meshack is a good kid. I would love to see him end up at a place like Bama. He lost his father a couple of years ago when he go hit by a car. It was very unfortunate, all the while he has been able to over come this tragedy and still be a great player. He was definately one of the most feared players in this region the last couple of years. That includes Cairo High School that is one of the top teams in the country.

A kid like him deserves something great like Bama.
