I do not doubt that the GOP would do everything he said if they actually won a super majority in both houses. They may end up with a majority after this year's elections but I doubt they come close to gaining 2/3 of both the house and senate. Without 2/3, that makes this plan impossible, something the crowd he is talking to obviously doesn't understand.

I’m not convinced the GOP takes control of Congress. Definitely not the Senate, but I’m still not convinced it happens in the house either. If not for Ukraine and the inflation numbers, I’d say definitely not the House either.
There is a lot of time for a lot to happen; time’s passage may swing the outcome one way or another. Worst case scenario, two years of stagnation, pretty much like the last twenty, as far as legislation goes.

History is not on the dems side in this election, and with inflation / gas prices where they are, I'm betting that unless something dramatic happens between now and Nov, both the house and senate are repub controlled.

Biden's polling numbers don't tell the whole story, but if not for Trump he'd have the lowest approval rating in history.

I know you're aware, but while there's a lot of overlap, they're not the same thing.
Not really. Not anymore.

You have the Trumpsters, and you have former conservatives who are too scared to confront them.

The latter amounts to : silence = acceptance.

Rep. Tom Rice (R-SC) just called Trump a "would-be tyrant". We will see how he is treated in the primaries. I seriously doubt that he survives.

We're discussing voters (people who were polled), not politicians.

Vast difference, imo.
