What's even more embarrassing than Sanders' fall in the draft is the crew on First Take chastising the NFL owners for using Shadeur Sanders to take out their hate for Deion. They literally are blaming the NFL owners for "conspiring" to do this. The IQ level on that show has to be hovering below 100.
So you are saying that they are the "gifted" among talk shows?

I can't wait until Deion makes his first sly comment about what the Browns are doing and Cleveland's HC is asked about it and responds, "I have a lot of respect for Coach Sanders but maybe he needs to focus on the Buffalo's a little more and maybe they won't get beat 34-3 again this week like they did last week."
That will cause the internet to break. I'm here for it.

You actually believe they have an IQ that high?

One lesson the Sanders' should have learned in this draft fiasco is it is very valuable to know when you have leverage in a situation and when you don't. They acted like (pre draft) they had all the leverage in the world all the while having none. The NFL sat back, listened to their bravado and bluster then showed them who had all the leverage.

As one beat writer I saw posted, "Learn how to read the room and know when you don't have leverage in a given situation." What a monumental miscalculation on their part.

Toronto Argonauts would like a word with Sanders if Cleveland moves on. I wonder if the Sanders would even consider Canada, especially if CLE moves on and no other NFL is interested? 🤔

IOW, three of these guys who actually accomplished something on the field were drafted late -- Ewers in the 7th, Howard in the 6th, and McCord in the 6th. Gabriel was picked about a third of the way through the draft (#94 of 257).

Whereas Sanders was a .500 QB in college, didn't do all that much on the field, showed up to job interviews unprepared and hostile toward being called on it, and still got drafted in the early part of the 5th round.

And for the talking heads who think it's a racist conspiracy, it's not a very good one because all the guys who actually did something other than run their mouths, yet were still drafted late, are white.

If you have seen Cleveland's war room reaction to drafting Sanders then you know if feels like they were forced (probably by the owner) to select Sanders.

With that said, Flacco/Pickett are QB1 and 2 and I just don't see them carrying 3 QBs, much less 4, on the active roster. So it will be interesting to see how this plays. Oh to be a fly on the wall when Clevelands HC and GM goes to release Sanders and someone from higher up stops them and forces them to either keep both drafted QB or release Gabriel.
Ahhh, you forgot one. The one with the towel on the massage table over in the corner. They will have 5 QBs on roster total. He may be on the injured list, but they will have to do something with him.
