My wonderful wife surprised me with a Demeco jersey for Christmas this year. It came in two days after Christmas because she had to custom order it from the Texans website, but it is sweet. I've been wearing it proudly for several days now :biggrin2: . I'm glad he's getting some props since he was overlooked for the Pro Bowl.

He won DROY for the Terry awards. Ryans deserves DROY for the league and i think he gets it.But you never know as we have found out the past month the media rarely does their homework. Ryans only minus is his lack of exposure playing for an NFL bottom feeder. He should be in the PROBOWL!

don't sweat it. he'll probably get DROY, and as far as the Pro Bowl, you rarely see rooks there. He's got plenty of career left to rack in the accolades.

It is a known fact a player does not go for his accomplishments but the name alone. Sad. Most solo tackles and only a rookie. Calling the Defensive playes and only a rookie. Second most tackles in the NFL and only a rookie. Well the NFL can just kiss Our Rookie's butt. :BigA:

I was just about to say the same thing! Look at Romo, the second coming of QB, is already playing like a bust! TO leading in TD's -- so he's an idiot but it's supposed to be based on play. That Shawn Merriman is going instead of Demeco is just wrong -- whether he really knew about the stimulant or not is immaterial -- he was suspended by the league for 4 games which should have made him ineligible for post season selection.
