The fight between Hokes Bluff & Tarrant?
WOW!
I can't believe things like that can still happen when these kids are supposed to be in awe of being in the championship game!
Just goes to show how things have changed.

It was a big ruckus!
First, before the game someone took a flag with the design of the Rebel Flag with the letters HBHS (Hokes Bluff High School) and went over to the Tarrent side of the field and ran it in front of them........

That's when things got good...errr....bad!

Being how you are from the gadsden area too, i'm sure you've seen some of the gadsden-etowah games of the past. None ever got that violent, but some were pretty close.

As for the Hokes Bluff-Tarrant game, I didn't see what happened but I heard a Tarrant player hit a Hokes Bluff kid in the head. Then it went from there.

Several of my friends went to the game.
They said it all started when Hokes Bluff scored their final time and started celebrating that a freshman was hit and injured after the play.
Then when they went to shake hands they started at it again!

WOW!
That is just sad to see.
