HAHA..Sure I'll trust the gubmint, they never lie to cover things up, I did think it was a sunken boat of some kind when I saw the pic..Cause that would have to be a whale if it were a fish..LOL
Uh Oh Tideman. May not be Nessie after all.:frown:

http://www.southernfriedscience.com/?p=16928 nice pics

No, we didn’t find the Loch Ness Monster with Apple Maps

Could be a gubmint cover up to protect the underwater UFO base in the Loch.?

Sorry. I used to be all into cryptozoology, but the more I looked into it the more it became apparent 99% of it ain't real.
I've always thought a lot of these cryptids were non-existent, but that doesn't stop my interest in the subject. I'd love for a megalodon or the Loch Ness monster to be proven to exist, but it just doesn't seem possible.

I do love hearing the hard core believers make up all kinds of garbage as "proof" of their existence.

the people who believe are quite entertaining. I am positive I will never have to buy my friend (who does believe in all this stuff) a steak dinner.

But comparing Megalodon to Nessie is a leap. I wouldn't be shocked to find out there was giant shark we thought was extinct somewhere in the ocean. It only went extinct a million years ago and it's habitat is still largely unexplored. Compare that to Nessie which is supposedly a Plesiosaur that's been extinct for over 60 million years and is supposedly in a relatively confined area that's been searched many, many times. You couldn't hide Nessie.

You're right. I didn't intend to compare them. I just mentioned the Megalodon because that would be the one I'd like most to get proven. The Coelacanth was thought extinct until the early 1900's so there's hope for it.
