Do you think the Barners are worried????

One thing that I have read and I beleive is true is that the barners are worried that their reign of winning against the Crimson tide is over. All I have heard is that Alabama is crazy for paying a coach that much money. I look at it this way you get what you pay for. The Tide will rise in 2007. Here is a clip I found in an artical on Bamadog and it all true......

Yes, I can feel the pain of the Auburn Nation. I can understand its frustration. It's like, "Dude, what else do we have to do?"

At seemingly the darkest moment in the Tide's history, the school rises like Phoenix from the ashes.

i wouldnt go so far as to say worried as much as they are bummed that the playing surface is a little bit more even now than it has been in a while. Its like a tiger playing with a mouse and then turning around and seeing that the mouse's friend is a very upset bull elephant!

They had their chance while we were down, and even though they went undefeated, they couldn't win it all. Now they know that time is over, and while I don't think anyone realistically expects either team to win 5 in a row any time soon, they do know we will be battling for (and winning) both the west and recruits.

That being said, I used the word "bammer" (not in a flame post either...I don't flame) and was threatened with banishment because I hurt someone's feelings. Double standards here? Barner? UThug? I'm sure corndog is out there somewhere although I haven't seen it yet. Now as far as the Barners being worried, I think it has to do with age.

Old Auburn fans remember when we owned them, and are probably a bit worried.... as are LSU fans.

However, the younger generation hasn't seen a Bama team that could own anyone.... so they don't know that fear.... but hopefully they will.

"Corndogs" is AU terminology for LSU fans. I've hardly ever noticed any UA fans using that particular reference.

I don't know who "threatened" you but I don't go to tigerforums and use the term corndog, LSWho or Tigger so go figure. The fast ticket out of here is to call our moderators out on the open forum. With that being said, stick around, gain some respect, get to know some members and let them get to know you. We give our rival members more rope as they earn it.
