is indicative of the reasons that Bama fans get such a bad reputation across the country. I understand the motivation to "Armchair Quarterback," but this is the same board that, only months ago, was home to unanimous posts proclaiming "Shula is the coach, and I trust his judgment." Now, some are beginning to nit-pick his every move. Brodie could be hurt on any play of any game with the Tide ahead, tide, or behind on the scoreboard. I am constantly reminded of why we as Bama fans get the bad rep we do...we can never be satisfied, even when our team beats an opponent handily. This was the first game of the 2004 season. We were on a four-game losing streak before this. We had multiple players at multiple positions coming back from injury. Why not praise the team's fire in the second half? The young players' efforts? The crowd's enthusiasm? The fact that it did not rain? There were so many positive things to come out of Saturday that it seems really petty to harp on the few negatives or to manufacture negatives to harp on. I am sure that CMS and staff will be busy correcting mistakes, including their own. The University hired them to run the football program. You pay for the privilege of watching The University's team perform. Let them do their jobs; you just show up and spectate.
