Reportedly the blue-chip lineman from Birmingham already has scholarships offered from Auburn, Arkansas, Clemson, Florida, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Louisville and Duke. Also Notre Dame has him high of their offensive tackles recruit list.

Some schools are recuiting him as a defensive tackle and others as an offensive tackle. I wonder why Bama has not offered him a scholarship yet?

I was wondering the same thing. As a matter of fact, I was on my way over here to ask about it when I saw this post.

The guy is 6-6, 255, 4.8/40 and carries a 4.0 with a 31 on his ACT, and he's strong. Why is he not a D-line coach's wet dream?

I did read that he has Auburn ties, but maybe we should see if he wants to join some of his old teammates at the Capstone?

"Whenever I see those crimson jerseys and crimson helmets, I feel humbled to have played football for Alabama. Other players in the NFL talk to me about their schools and their traditions. I just smile knowing the immense love Alabama fans have for our school and its football program. I'm proud to be a part of that Crimson Tide heritage."

There are more important things in life than Alabama football, but I can count them on one hand.
