By all indications, UF will sign two QB's this season. With Tebow, he is looking for a system that will lead him to the NFL. That is one of the reasons he's considering Michigan. They have a lot of success in that area.ihatefulmer said:Maybe this might help us with Tebow (SP?)
TommyMac said:Well, if Tebow is looking for an easy path to the NFL, it sure can't hurt UF that Meyer just produced the #1 draft choice. At Utah and only 20 years old at that. Let's not forget that Gainsville is just down the road from J'ville and both his parents are Gator grads.
There's no doubt that Smith's numbers would've been lower if he had've played in the SEC, surrounded by MAC talent, that is. He put up dominant numbers in the MAC playing with and against comparaable talent. Why wouldn't he be able to do it in the SEC if he's playing with and against comparable talent?TidenLA said:Well, from what I heard about Alex Smith is he is a football junkie and eat lived and breathed football.. Does Tim T do all these things...no certainty that Tebow would be just like Smith....maybe, but Utah wasn't in the SEC either...I truly believe that Smiths numbers would have been alot lower if he had played in the SEC
