Heavy offensive class. Meadows gives us 2 WR at 6' 5" and they continue to target tight ends which this staff actually intends to throw to and a QB who can make all the throws. I hope to see more hot read action next season and a better run game. I'm convinced the key to offense is consistently keeping your third downs to 5 yards or less.

And having a QB that can distribute the ball efficiently.

The key to offense is space, and showing the defense that the offense can threaten whatever they leave open on any given play.

Hopefully that will open up next year.

If both of them make it to where they are actively a part of the WR rotation they are going to be a problem for defenses. I think Odom will push for playing time next season, he is going to be a good one if he keeps his nose to the grind.

What a haul. Unless Haywood double back and apologize to the staff, Looks like focus shifting to the portal needs now. Based on what CKD said, it sounds like he knows who he's targeting.
What exactly happened with him? I looked through the recruiting posts but couldn't find any information.

Month ago, His family decided to hire NIL agent and look for highest bidder. Michigan is throwing money at him.

Even though he may sign with Michigan, that could backfire on him... Waiting til Feb to sign, and seeking more money and haven't even played a down on campus.

It will backfire on him. Things like this normally do.

I just want the best players on the team. Just because a kid is from Alabama doesn't mean he's going to play any harder than a kid from out of state. Our hearts want to believe that but with today's athletes, that's just not the case. Mark Ingram was from the north and I can't think of another Alabama player who bleeds crimson more than he does.
I am totally on board with your thoughts and while I understand we want the state of Alabama's best we want the best player no matter where they are from. As I said before our in-state recruiting will improve moving forward and our national recruiting will continue to remain strong.

Maybe not. Football programs have a ton of money to throw around right now and they know that rules are coming soon. This is the right time to be greedy if one is so inclined.
Most people who solely chase money while disregarding everything else normally end up empty-handed. This kid and his parents are simply chasing money. A bird in the hand is better than a bird in the bush. They'll find out what that means the hard way...
