I'm pulling for them in the final, but I'm not sure they can beat Spain with the way they've been playing. Spain is looking tough.

Spain have certainly looked the best team of the whole tournament. England, on the other hand, have looked like they were saving up energy right from the group stage games by playing at a very slow walking pace. Southgate finally moved Foden to the No. 10 and he looked a different player at his preferred position. He was too isolated out on the left. He only missed scoring by a good save and the woodwork. It should be interesting to see him come up against Rodri in the final.

Will the Euro Championship come home? I doubt it but would be really pleased if it did. I was only a kid when England won it's only national championship back at the World Cup in 1966.

If they've been saving energy, then it's paid enough. From an untrained eye, they've just looked a bit sluggish. I really hope Southgate leaves Foden as the 10, goes with a back 4 against Spain, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Now that Spain are Euro champions it was gratifying to see Rodri recognized as player of the tournament. Too often it is the top scorer, but this team they recognized Rodri's superb ability to run the Spanish team Now City fans have to wait and hope his injury isn't too bad.

In Championship news, Preston North End and gaffer Ryan Lowe have parted ways under mutual agreement.

Preston North End have appointed Paul Heckingbottom as manager, replacing Ryan Lowe.

Let's hope Heckingbottom can get North End promoted as he did Sheffield United!

Chelsea beat the Wolves 6-2. The best they have looked in quite some time. Albeit, against the Wolves, but they had lost three in a row to them.

So tired of hearing about Arsenal's injury list - Odegaard basically, the others were knocks when Man City has three long term injuries - DeBruyne, Bobb, and Rodri as well as Grealish, Walker, and Doku. City only has 15 fit non-goalkeeper players available currently and will play the kids more than likely against Spurs in the Caraboe Cup Wednesday. The London media just concentrate on London teams and forget about the other 15 clubs in the EPL.
