ESPN Gameplan on the Blink? / Gameplan Online problems

ESPN Gameplan is not working here in Lubbock. Any troubles elsewhere? Can I still catch a flight to Tuscaloosa?

Call your local provider - I had to this morning. I am getting all the Televised games except the Georgia - W. Kentucky game (black out? why in Florida). Not many Dawg fans down here. :BigA:

It goes on the fritz alot. It sometimes will start several minutes late. Unfortunately its a crap shoot with gameplan for some reason! I have it myself, I feel the risk is worth it!! :BigA:

It is on 778 on Direct TV. They had The Barn v. Miss State up there this morning but have since corrected it. ESPN Gameplan is only blacked out in Bama and HA. How ridiculous for the blackout in HA -- it's not like someone will choose to watch it on TV instead of going to the game! As a sellout it should be on everywhere, incl Bama. I know I would rather be there than watching it on TV.

Gameplan Online problems

I ordered Gameplan today so I can watch the game later but I tried to test it by watching the Georgia game and all I am gettint is the audio. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to correct it?

You're not understanding the point of the blackout. It has nothing to do with wanting people to go to the game - otherwise they wouldn't blackout games that are sold out. It has everything to do with wanting people to pay the higher $$$ for the individual PPV telecast. Thus, people in Hawaii have exactly the same TV option as people in Bama - pay for the individual game on PPV.

Exactly. Any time you can see a game on a non-GP channel in your area, it will be blacked out by GP.

Can't tell you for sure, but my guess is that your computer might not have the right codec loaded. Check the GP page to find a list somewhere of what the requirements are for your computer and see if it tells you what you need. Is it shown in WMV? Real? MOV? Then update your video codecs to the latest version of whatever is needed. Sorry I can't be more specific than that, but that's the best guess I have. Otherwise, before you even try that, I'd try watching other games and make sure that you're having the same problem on every game. If you're not, then it was probably a specific problem with that game video.

When you order the $21 package it includes all of the games for the day and not just one game right? That was my understanding and if thats the case, all I can get is audio and when it says its loading the video it eventually says file not found. I am going to be mad if I just waisted money to hear the audio.

Are you watching on TV or computer. If you are watching online did you do the system check to see if you needed any downloads?

I am watching online and I did do a systems check. Everything was fine but I did go ahead a download the newest version of macromedia flash. After downloading that I tried to watch another game and it took me to replays of the wonderful looking Wolverine outing(sarcasm). So I know the video player is working but it just won't let me watch any games. Thanks for the help.
