Notice they list the Alabama 2018 squad, the only team without a NC in the Top 10.
It was a great team, regardless of the outcome against Clemson.
Had they won, they would make a very strong case to be #1 simply because that defense was unbelievable that year. Only problem was leaving Watson time to drive2016 Alabama deserves to be on there.
They shouldn’t even be on the list because they cheated all last season. I hope we beat them by at least 2 or 3 touchdowns in a few weeks. Hopefully their AD will be there in person to watch.2023 Michigan loses to every other team on that list.
Agreed. That was the only team I thought shouldn’t even be on the list.2023 Michigan loses to every other team on that list.
Truth!!!!2023 Michigan loses to every other team on that list.
Toss up, IMO. Ask the same group again next year and they might swap them up. They are 1a & 1b.I’m shocked 2019 LSU isn’t #1
And gets boat raced by a few.2023 Michigan loses to every other team on that list.
It seems like 2020 Bama doesn’t get the credit it deserves. A lot of people don’t even consider it a real title. 2019 LSU was great, but almost lost to both the Barn and Bama. 2020 Bama literally played with their food the whole season. People will mention the UF game, but that game was never in doubt. The only one that gave me a slight scare was the Ole Miss game.Toss up, IMO. Ask the same group again next year and they might swap them up. They are 1a & 1b.
If you think about it, 2019 Alabama almost beat 2019 LSU. It was very close. And 2020 Alabama was better than 2019 Alabama. So I think 2020 Alabama could very well have beaten 2019 LSU.I’m shocked 2019 LSU isn’t #1
As good as that 2019 LSU team was, they didn't really hit their stride until midway through the season. They had tight games with Texas and Auburn. After the game with us, they were just a machine. I remember when Najee and Devonta said they were coming back after the 2019 season thinking we would be really good. Little did we know at the time. From start to finish, that team was unstoppable. If you think about it, 2019 Alabama almost beat 2019 LSU. It was very close. And 2020 Alabama was better than 2019 Alabama. Their defense was horrible at the beginning of the season and gradually improved. As good as that 2019 LSU team was, they didn't really hit their stride until midway through the season. I wonder if we will ever see teams like that again. Maybe we will, but certainly not frequently, and I don't know yet if that's a good or bad thing. Even though Michigan marched through their schedule last year, they probably weren't better than either of the UGA national title teams.Agreed, no way is 2023 Michigan on that list. And I also have issue with both UGA teams before our second one. I think multiple Bama teams beat both of them. I mean 2021 Bama whipped that 2021 UGA team. 2022 Georgia should have lost to OSU.
