I would have loved to see Jesse Williams clean Brad Wing's greens on a punt return somehow. Especially after Wing came down and got in Maze's face after the first punt. imagine the bumper sticker, "My Aussie beat up your Aussie".

The article didn't say Bama won the Super Bowl or that Jesse plays in the NFL. It stated that Bama won America's Bowl Championship Series and that Jesse has the potential to go on to play in the National Football League. Which is true.

They did, however, call LSU, at one point, Louisiana University.

The title of the article calls him an NFL Champ, LOL.

In regard to the 'NFL Champ' comment. What you have to realise that often, 'NFL' is the tag given to any american football. It works also here in our Australian Football League (AFL) so that even though the sport is Australian Rules Football, many would call a kid that is a standout footballer 'Great at AFL' even if he didn't play in the professional league.

So, semantics aside...the fact that the largest Metropolitan newspaper in the state has run a story and photo of his family getting a tattoo is pretty amazing, especially when you consider that pre JW, there would be very limited coverage of football, besides the Superbowl.

Australia is officially Bama's turf.

(Although a young player (OL) from Melbourne appears headed for Georgia Tech in the fall).
