Where do I start?

Ladson Montgomery looked as he was there to win the starting cathers spot back dooring a pick

Tons of HRs hit today with the new Easton bat, yeah i said Easton

A J Cole looked really good at 3rd base and the kid at 2nd base is highly talented specimen

Reaves and Austin Smith just do what they do = studs

Another newby in the outfield, Cameron Carlisle is a player in LF with an canon. LH hitter can mash but I knew that from his days at Hillcrest.

Dugas in CF and Miller in RF liked having the Carlisle kid out there.

The pitchers worked their normal PFPs and the new faces on the staff looked to have been very well coached in highschool/summerball.

Very Pleased with this group for the first day

Do you think that Montgomery is going to hit at all? I know that last year he just looked overmatched against decent pitching. That worries me.

The thing I remember most about Ladson Montgomery from last season, is that there were a number of times that he would get on base and the throw from the pitcher to try to get him out would be a wild throw. It is almost like him being on base seemed to get under their skin so they put a little extra in that sent the throw sailing.

who's the kid at 2B? It's not Tullidge or Kelton is it?
Saw a Jon Kelton and a Jon Keller on the roster. So, immediately next year it'll feel like Jon Keller has been here forever.

You are talking about Kenny Roberts at 2nd base, he is the juco transfer. Big kid and can hit, not the best of hands and feet but they'll sacrifice fielding for hitting any day of the week. Kelton recovering from foot surgery after the season, not sure where his spot will be, possibly DH this year. The bats are going to make a huge difference this year.

that's right, forgot about Kenny Roberts. Always good to have a power source at 2B like we had with Wilson for 3 years.
