If you have 13mins of spare time I recommend watching this Shannon Sharpe & Ocho nails it exactly..
Every 2-4 years it seems like, lol. He's a really good player, but idk if I'd tab him as a "generational" talent.
Then again, maybe I’m not even sure what that means.
What’s a football generation?
Yup make a good point..I consider Derrick Henry or Bo Jackson generational type players, I'm not saying Ty isn't a generational type talent, give him time earning that kinda praise..He's a really good player, but idk if I'd tab him as a "generational" talent.
Then again, maybe I’m not even sure what that means.

My youngest is 16 and we were just talking about how there have been like 10 “generational” QB prospects in the last 5 years.Every 2-4 years it seems like, lol.
“Good point son…Generational QBs only come around like twice a year…”My youngest is 16 and we were just talking about how there have been like 10 “generational” QB prospects in the last 5 years.
I feel like there has to be a Yogi Berra quote for this situation.

How about, “ If he stays inbounds, Lee Roy’ll get him. “ ?Gen Talent for us:
Bennett
Thomas
Henry
Smitty
Tua
Will Anderson
Those 6 were unstoppable on the field by the opposition for the most part and ready to make an impact immediately.
Only thing that held Tua back was Health and Locksley
Only thing that held Anderson back was Golding.
But those 6 for the most part had to have entire game plans created around keeping them in check and they mostly failed.
That to me is Generational. The ‘Don’t come around often unstoppable’ players.

Just a baby! 1958 here.He was before my time so I unfortunately never saw him play but my Dad talked about him a lot for sure.
My 1st memories of Bama Football start around ‘84-‘85.
