Couldn't tell if it was loud or not...my wife made me partially deaf on the left side. Seriously, my ears were still ringing at 2:15 when I got home and things are still muffled now. Neither of us sound right when talking. I think we annoyed the two elderly couples sitting in front of us.

I couldn't disagree more with the sentiment that it wasn't loud. My ears were still ringing when I got up this morning and I too couldn't speak until about an hour ago! It was SERIOUSLY loud and could't care less what it sounded like on TV! That stadium ROCKED last night.

Perhaps, and I don't mean this in a rude way, but perhaps it is time for people not at the game to quit making comments about the crowd noise at BDS. It was loud, not as continously loud from start to finish as the '05 Florida game, but it was loud, especially when it needed to be. I was wore out, my voice was in worse shape, and I think I have bruises on my hands from the constant clapping.

It was a great night in T-town! I wish you all could have been there.

A friend who was @ the UF game in '05 said it was def louder last night than that game, which was the previous benchmark to him (he goes to every home game)...

My throat is raw and I'm thankful I took my earplugs (even took extras for those around me).

How can anyone sitting on their [butts] at home tell us who go to the games we are not loud enough?
If you can do better then get to the games! BD was loud. It was so loud that half the time I could not hear the radio I had stuck in my ear. It was loud, real loud.

Just read all of the news papers around the country who have written articles about this game. Almost all speak of how crazy loud BD was during this game.

Just saying!

:BigA:I now have 0 voice left. I was in the upper deck and it did not seem as loud as some games of the past. The loudest game I ever remember was the AL/ TN Rocky Stop game. Maybe it was louder on the field.

I was at the 2005 FL game and I still have the same seats. The '05 game felt louder, over the course of the game, to me. However, it was plenty loud last night. BDS was indeed rockin' and it makes no difference how that may or may not have come across on the TV. Y'all do realize they adjust crowd noise on those broadcasts, right? Come on. They have to filter stuff out.

Nonetheless, I was proud of how the fans supported the team. Coach Saban obviously was pleased too.

For those of you watching at home, before you judge the crowd noise look at the QB. The FEW times they tried to adjust or audible he had to get RIGHT in the ear of his linemen. Also, they didn't go on an audible count even once all night.

It was loud. Not sure if it was louder than 05, but I think there was far less for us to prove this time around. And going up by 24 early, well, that doesn't help crowd noise either.

CNS said that he "couldn't imagine a better atmosphere" than we had last night - so I really don't think he has any complaints. And that comes from the guy who was HC at what many folks think is (WAS) the loudest stadium - LSU.

As many others that were there have said it was plenty loud. I have one of the "Gameday Radios" that has the dual earbuds that act like earplugs. It was so loud that I had Eli turned up all the way and at times was still having trouble hearing what he was saying.

RTR!

This game has been nuts and I guess the score would dictate it not being as loud as I thought it would be but...... At home watching it on tv its not loud at all. I thought the crowd would be super duper loud at least once. Maybe the tv distorts it

Haven't read the rest of the threads. The pre-game and first half were LOUD! There were times during the first half that my ears hurt.

The 2nd half, we came out "flat" as did the crowd.

But, we WON!

Let's NOT LOOK for and find negatives. At this time all is positive.

Let's go to SC and win.

ROLLTIDE!
