Congrats to Billy Gonzales on being named Interim Head Coach for the rest of the Gators 2025 Season.

I think the kids will play hard for him.

Gonzales recruited many of them either directly or secondarily.
From his press conference he will be opening up the offense with the help of Russ Calloway as the Co-Offensive Coordinator and Ryan O’Hara as the QB Coach & Play Caller.

The defense will remain the same.

Moving forward, I would love to see the new coaching staff keep Gonzales & Ron Roberts. Maybe even Gator Alumni Mike Peterson.

I think the Ole Ball Coach likes Drinkwitz because he wears a visor. Drinks teams over the years have only proven to be "good" against inferior teams and when they play a team that is equal or better, he can't win. I'd leave the Ole Ball Coach's opinion out of it and hire a coach who's actually won some big games. Drink is another James Franklin.

He has built a steady program at Mizoo which cannot be an easy place to recruit to. He could be good at UF but that program continues to chew up and spit out promising coaches.
