Those are all well and good but they were planned flyovers. How about some dude just deciding to buzz the field in his vintage WWII B-25. That's what happened in 1985 at UF.
I spoke with someone that was there and they said it was VERY scary. They had no idea what was going on and thought he was trying to land on the field. He flew the plane into the stadium. No one thought he would clear the upper deck when he pointed the nose up. Apparently, the big radials on the B-25 could really crank out the hours power and they made it.
I think the pilot lost his license for that one.
