SAN ANTONIO - Shaq Thompson said Monday after practice for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl that USC is no longer on his list. Apparently, after he posted on Twitter on Sunday night that he was seriously considering the Trojans, some followers questioned him.

He was not amused, and now the Trojans are out.

A big LB recruit did something similar last year with MS State and Ole Miss. I think it was Fletcher Cox and he decommitted from Ole Miss and commited to MSU over some Facebook or Twitter smack.

Some people are going to be stupid whether they follow someone on Twitter or facebook or they know them in person. Sure, social media--FORUMS included--just make it easier for the message to reach the recipient. Advice--if you want to say something mean/stupid/inappropriate to a child/HS football recruit, just write it on a piece of paper, wait 30 minutes, then burn. haha. Putting it on the WORLD WIDE WEB for anyone to see is just ignorant and stupid.
