Former Bengals DE Antwan Odom is in stable condition after being shot in the thigh this morning, according to Odom's PR man Donnie Atkinson.

Free agent DE Antwan Odom was shot in the leg early Monday

The shooting reportedly happened around 4:30 a.m. in Irvington, Alabama, near Odom's hometown of Mobile. Odom's injuries are not considered life-threatening. The ex-Bengal was released three weeks ago as he struggled to return to form after a 2009 Achilles' tendon tear.
