This is very interesting to say the least. Urban Meyer seemed to have no choice but to dismiss the player from the team, and lately Lane Kitten has been losing some players for various reasons. One of the most glaring departures was from the Quarterback position, and now there is a talented player available to help heal those wounds.

The real gamble for Kitten is to see if this player can clean up his act, or at least stay out of trouble while a UT player and contribute to the team's success. Only time will tell, but there could be trouble on the horizon.

The way that I understood the update was that he wasn't making a decision until late summer. I'm also under the impression that he is playing this season at the JUCO. Tennessee is not his only choice of school to go to.

Correct me if I'm wrong but that is the way it came across to me when I read the update. :conf2:

I definitely understand where you are coming from. I too live in arange country and I have to listen to those idiots on Sporttalk and their "get on aboard the Lane Train" prattle.

Daniel Hood...I am middle of the road on.

Dexter Moody...I am totally against.

Granted those two positions are positions of need.

Cameron Newton...I am all for a competent QB. Bring him on. Just hide your laptops :)

He may turn out no better than Crompton.

I won't reflect this on you, but man, assisting in the raping of your cousin is really messed up.

Regarding Newton though, I know I wouldn't be for turning him down if I was a fan of a school that needed QB help. Think A.J. Price...

I agree. Reading all I have on it. It "appears" that the family is trying to be a family. It "appears" the cousin has forgiven him and is behind him now. The appearances could be all smoke, I don't know. The act he was involved in is/was terrible. Reading both sides of it, I am still not totally sure what to think. I don't say that since we need linemen. He was a TE in high school, I don't think he will have an immediate impact.

With the Moody kid, I don't want him in Knoxville, whether he can contribute immediately or not. His problems are recent. I hope the staff does not offer him. If they do, my stance on this still will not change. I will just hope he stays out of trouble.

Newton, on the other hand, has not committed a heinous crime. He could be a good QB, better than what we have anyway. I am for the signing of him.

Just my take on the 3 "trouble" guys that may end up at UT.

Hillbilly U has more than "3 trouble guys" on their team. Those are just the recent additions to the other thugs on the team. And now they can add a thief to the rapist they just brought on board.

Who are the other trouble guys?

I don't think there have been any problem players since Kiffin arrived.

Apparently Marve is also interested in UcheaT. Personally I hope they keep taking these questionable character guys, it'll blow up in their faces sooner than later.

Also, tell me please that Brown and Oku both don't have a questionable character.

For god's sake, even Miami pulled Brown's scholarship offer, when they were his leader and he even had been "committed" to them. Don't tell me there was no reason for that.

And that's all just recent.
