Well to be fair, the head coach is responsible for his assistants (ala DJ Durkin).

I think this is an attempt to use the new rules to his advantage by "crying wolf" since he's already burned his redshirt. So he saw one "hundred dollar handshake?" Eh...

Sam Khan is a former Houston Chronicle writer. That dude has never touched the football field dressed in a uniform...at any age with the exception of a cheerleader uniform. I question his credibility making any point about the sport.

A fair point with which I don't disagree but let's face it:

"Elko Accused of X at ATM" doesn't have near the drawing power of Fisher's name.

Hell, I pay very little attention to the assistants on OUR team, and I consume more CFB than probably 85% of folks.
I wouldn't have a clue who he was (save if he was a guy like Kiffin or Rob Ryan in the pros or Joe Lee Dunn back in the day - folks whose reps exceed
the average person).

This could very well be sour grapes and probably is, however I never thought anything about the whole "OSU WR Coach gets canned for beating his wife" article would turn into a full blown scandal either.

He enabled Jameis Winston antics, behavior and episodes (among others). He then did everything he could to keep him protected.

He's a snake!

I have no idea if the report is true but I'm not surprised if so.

I agree. This is the kind of crap that caused me to stop watching the NFL. When they started off Sportscenter with a wide receiver working out in his driveway because he was holding out for more money, I said to myself that I didn't need NFL football any more. I was right.

Exactly. Is the player saying that he had never been TOLD it was wrong prior to transferring out of aTm? The NCAA ought to make an example of him and REVOKE his eligibility, instead of granting him immediate release to another school to play this fall.
