The Peach Bowl is an annual college football bowl game played in Atlanta, Georgia, since December 30, 1968.

The first three Peach Bowls were played at Grant Field on the Georgia Tech campus in Atlanta. Between 1971 and 1992, Atlanta–Fulton County Stadium hosted the game. From 1993 to 2016, the game was played at the Georgia Dome. The bowl then moved to Mercedes-Benz Stadium starting in 2017. Since 1997, it has been sponsored by Chick-fil-A and is officially known as the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. From 2006 to 2013, it was named the Chick-fil-A Bowl.

From its beginning, the Peach Bowl often featured teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Between 1993 and 2013, the ACC and SEC established official tie-ins with the bowl game.

In 2014, the Peach Bowl, along with the "New Year's Six" bowls, became a part of the College Football Playoff. As part of the four team playoff from 2014 to 2023, the Peach Bowl served as a semifinal game in 2016, 2019, and 2022.

With the expansion of the College Football Playoff to twelve teams in the 2024–25 season, the Peach Bowl serves as either a quarterfinal or semifinal each season. It served as a quarterfinal in January 2025 and will serve as a semifinal in January 2026. When serving as a semifinal, the game will be played a week after New Year's Day.

The winner of the bowl game is awarded the George P. Crumbley Trophy, named after the game's founder, George Crumbley.

I was hoping for an Indiana vs Ole Miss final...but as all the teams I've pulled for this playoff have lost, congrats on the win Ducks! :D

I'll watch the game tonight with hopes of an exciting game that is excruciating for both teams' fanbases. Now that we're out, let their fans suffer.

I'm actually going to the game. A friend of mine got free tickets several weeks ago and invited me. This was actually before we played Oklahoma, so after that win I was very excited about the prospects of getting to see us play a semifinal game. Instead I will cheer for the Hoosiers tonight for no other reason that I have never liked Oregon or Dan Lanning.

Curious if Lanning goes full Kiffin tonight passing up field goals to go for it on every 4th down and coming away with nothing. Should be interesting, especially since the Hoosiers took the first meeting.

If I were to watch this, which I will not, I would be watching the O and D lines for the players that might be in the portal tomorrow after they lose.

Bazza, appreciate the history on the Peach Bowl. As for the game tonight, it’s football, so I’ll tune in off and on. Don’t care for either team, but go duckies.

Thank you @Rkharley98 - last night's game was a fun one to watch as it entered the last quarter, anyway. I'm pulling for Indiana tonight - mostly because I like their QB and would enjoy seeing them play against the Canes more.

Good luck, brother.....may the best team win!

Heard some interesting stats today about how well Indiana executes and does not beat themselves
1 Fumble lost, all season.
6 dropped passes, all season.
2 pass interference penalties, all season.
76/76 xtra pts
16/17 FG's(by the starter)
We probably had 1 game where we had a fumble, 3 drops and 2 PI's ?

I know I may be an outlier here but I’m actually pulling for Indiana tonight. You’ve got to have major respect for what Cignetti has done with the program. I love how disciplined his players are. He is one of the few head coaches out there that I can say resemble Coach Saban.

Cignetti was interviewed the other day. If I can find and post it, I will. Very short, but everything he said was purposeful and insightful. You are so right @Tide&True about his persona being as close to Saban's as any I have ever known. Super impressive guy!
