It depends on how bad the beatdown is. Nobody was saying that after the Mich game this year.

Michigan isn't Wisconsin.

Over the past 5-10 years Wisconsin has been a much better football program than Mich. Now if you want to talk about the history of their programs you would be correct.

I have a very good husband/wife client, HUGE sports fans (as most from WI are), who live in Elkhorn, WI and I emailed them after seeing this and asked them if they were crazy.....their AD Barry Alvarez to open the season with an away game against Alabama.

He replied back "I know!! New guy and Barry is putting him to the test!!"

As far as I'm concerned - I love SEC vs. Big 10 games. Especially first game of the season - what a great way to start off!

Heh. I would love it, but I'm sure they would bluster around and dodge us. As long as we're taking name brands behind the woodshed for season openers, though, I wouldn't mind seeing us pick off a PAC-10 team for variety.

Did Bolema set a land speed record for being processed? He left 2 1/2 years before even playing us.

I'd love a game with USC.

The games in Atlanta this year and next evolved from an attempt to play USC there and USC chickened out. The Atlanta Sports Council had a tentative agreement with them to play in either 2013 or 2014(USC's choice). At the time the USC preferred opponent was Bama, thus the ASC was negotiating with Bama for both years because they didn't know which year USC would choose. All of that went out the window with the HC/AD changes at USC. Bama wound up being contracted for both years. VT in 2013. WVU in 2014.
