Fulmer also commented on the team that has consistently kept UT from greatness over the past few years. "Beating Georgia this year was big. It got us back in the running for the conference and we just took it from there. But I have a feeling they are not going to be too much of a problem from here on out."

When pressed for further explanation of his comment Fulmer elaborated, "Let's just say Athens is alot like Tuscaloosa. There is a reason why the past few years their border has been closed and it ain't because those kids want to stay at home. Their coach is hiding behind this 'I love Jesus' stuff. But we got Alabama and we'll get him too. It's just a matter of time."

That was a made up story. Someone linked the real story into the thread and it said nothing like that about Fulmer and Georgia. The thread is now deleted. You have to be careful to whipe your shoes before you come back to Tide Fans when you go over there. I am just glad you didn't track in the Tennspud link.

I can honestly believe that Phil Fulmer would say something like that and in further more I can't wait
until he comes to Tuscaloosa next season.
