I haven't read the books, but it would be cool if the guy who never dies could transfer his power to Sean Bean and bring him back. I guess they would have to find and reunite the head and body. He would have a bad attitude if he came back, considering what all has happened.

Casting Sean Bean as someone who cannot die would rip the fabric of the universe asunder.

Not all dead Starks are completely dead.

I recently purchased Season 1 on Blu-ray and have watched the first two episodes. So far, I've found the series kind of boring, probably because I've already read the books. Also, I haven't found the "language/sex/nudity/violence" overly gratuitous or even out of place thus far -- it's all been in line with the book and the society being portrayed in my opinion.

There's been a lot of speculation that he really doesn't know how to finish it. If he can't bring it together, it reduces the series to a medieval/fantasy version of "As The World Turns."
Supposedly he has broken down the end for the 2 main show runners just in case he should die before the books are finished.

I would say the same. Whether I had or not... ;)
He didn't confirm that. May have been mentioned in episode commentaries or some other source. Was a third party mentioning it had happened, so salt & grain & all.

I just started watching this series. I am half way through the second season. I didn't read any of this thread so I will not get spoiled. Good so far but Joffrey needs to be killed in the worst way possible. Mainly because his name is Joffrey, but also because of the things he has done.

Glad you picked this one up. It is one of my favorite shows. You won't be disappointed...it keeps getting better and better.
