Game Thread: Game Thread for 11/01/25 CFB games

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

I don't think sports betting is legal in GA so Kirby doesn't care I guess. It did give us who picked UGA in the Pick'em another loss.
I figured when Smart called timeout that he was making sure to tell the ball carrier to make the first down but not the touchdown.

I find it funny when the score is right on the edge of the betting line and certain plays at the very end impact the folks who bet. Virginia intercepted a pass with less than a minute to go and a lead with no timeouts remaining for California. The returner should have taken a knee but scored a TD instead; this flipped the score with respect to the betting line.

Yeah I don't recall ever seeing someone take a knee in that manner. 99% of coaches would have let their player score there. That's a bit too much sportsmanship IMO.

Once again, I feel bad for you Bazza.

Thanks and sorry we didn't get it done. That 4th and 1 up the middle is what lost us the game. Just frustrating to see us lose another game based on a poor play call. I thought we were done with those! Otherwise I'm proud of the team's effort today. Hopefully we will win a few before the season's over.

Here is the problem with this system:

If Vandy wins out, regardless of how anyone feels about Diego pavia, that team is one of the top 12.

It doesn’t matter how many times it’s expanded, this scenario will repeat.

Also Jim Mora is doing very well at UConn and turning them around. His team is undefeated this year in regulation. 6-3 with all 3 losses in OT.

I am not convinced they are a top 12 team nor that they will be at the end of the year if they win out. But they are not winning out.

As if anyone cares, Miss St came back to beat Arky in Fayetteville. Petrino still can't field any decent defense. to save his life. 38-35.

Motorcycle Bobby will never again field a good defense. Can’t remember when or where I read/heard the story but IIRC he actually told his DC to “back off” in practice cuz he couldn’t “run his offense” at some point several years ago.

The format is retarded and is only going to get worse. Boise State, SMU, Indiana, and Clemson had absolutely no business being in the playoffs last year. Honestly, neither did Penn State. None of those teams had any marquee wins.
